Luka Doncic already speaks as an NBA player: “I think I’m ready”

Luka Doncic is already an NBA player after the Dallas Mavericks got him through a trade with the Atlanta Hawks, who elected him at number three. Once overcome all the rumors that were happening during the year and continued until the last moment with that exchange, Doncic attended the media.

“I’ve been talking to a lot of teams, but especially with Dallas, who were always very kind to me, I’m happy to be in the NBA and be part of it,” the Balkan told ESPN.

On whether his arrival in the NBA comes at a good time, Doncic was confident: “I had many former NBA teammates on my team, I played against many former NBA players,” he said. “I have compeñaeors who taught me a lot and they were talking to me about the NBA all year long, they know I’m coming and I think I’m ready,” he said.

Before starting the Draft ceremony, Luka Doncic confirmed that he will play in the NBA next season in case there was still some doubt: “My decision is made, I want to be an NBA player.”
